We want the best for our children and future leaders. But do we know what is best? Our country’s physical health is in crisis. And we seem to have a mental and spiritual disconnect with nature and others. Maybe we need the lesson? Children love to move, imagine, and explore without limits and expectations. Let them play, step back and watch what they teach you.

In a children’s yoga class we move like the animals, become still like a giant oak tree. Celebrate each individual without judgment. Learn to work together in a non-competitive environment, promoting inner and outer peace.  The physical benefits include strength, flexibility, coordination, and positive body image. Mentally, it enhances focus, concentration, self-esteem, and sense of calmness. Children are spiritual beings, they are encouraged to honor their inner light and believe in themselves.

Yoga is a great gift to give our children. They will learn how to navigate life’s challenges with a little more ease and live a life of balance.
