Instructors

We're proud of the people who teach here. Each of our instructors brings their own story, their own style, and a whole lot of heart — helping make Lincoln Yoga Center the welcoming, no-judgment community it's always been.

Beth Allen

Beth Allen discovered yoga in 1994 in New Jersey as a healthy and joyful way to heal her body after raising four children, and never looked back. After relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2002, she immersed herself in a wide range of styles and teachers, eventually collaborating with her mentor to help develop and lead a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program. She went on to teach at studios, schools, offices, and gyms throughout the Bay Area for nearly two decades. Beth's teaching is rooted in the Iyengar tradition, with a strong emphasis on precise alignment and the understanding that every body is different. Now bringing over 30 years of passion and experience to Lincoln Yoga Center, she invites every student to slow down, pay attention, and discover what their body is truly capable of.

Chelsey Kirk

Certified Yoga Instructor | Lincoln Yoga Center

Prioritizing mindful exploration and sensation. Focusing on how movements feel rather than how they look. I completed my 200 hour teacher training at Lincoln Yoga Center in 2023. A Certified nursing assistant since 2006, my background in caregiving deeply informs my teaching—emphasizing safety, presence, and honoring each student’s unique body.

Certified Yoga Instructor | Lincoln Yoga Center

Since 2021, I have embraced the transformative journey of yoga, practicing regularly and discovering the beauty it brings to my life. My teaching philosophy centers around encouraging students to connect with their bodies and minds in a way that feels authentic and empowering. Off the mat, I love spending time with loved ones and my dog, exploring nature, and reading.

Megan Kay

Certified Yoga Instructor | Lincoln Yoga Center

I have practiced yoga for 20 years and started teaching yoga in 1998. My style is grounded in alignment, but I would describe it as eclectic and adaptable to all ages and abilities. I received my 200-hour teacher training in Inner Power Yoga® through Yoga World Reach. Yoga is an inquiry into the mind, body, and spirit; therefore, my focus for class is to create a challenging, but energizing space for the student to experience this inquiry.

Heather Neale

Heather is a RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance who has been teaching yoga for 8 years and practicing since 2010, working with a wide range of students — from children and college students to first responders. A stay-at-home mom turned yoga teacher and Kirtan leader, she blends grounded nurturing with spiritual grace, creating a safe and inclusive space where everyone feels seen and supported. She believes yoga is a pathway to healing and transformation — an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and gently release what no longer serves. Through mindful movement, breath, and stillness, Heather guides others toward balance in both body and heart, one breath and one heartbeat at a time.
